The Earth is the birth mother of us all. In the Rainforest the ground is intensively ploughed and riven by the enormous and complex root systems of trees and plants, providing nourishment for the giant trees down to the tiniest of animals and plants. This earth is home to all manner of creatures in homes that are sometimes intricate systems of tunnels and chambers or simple caves of rock and soil. This painting represents the deep wisdom of the earth itself,  the Earth Mother creating the rhythms and cycles of life.
